Madikwe Hillhouse Receives Our On-site Housekeeping and F&B Training

We had the great pleasure to travel to Madikwe Hillhouse to offer our on-site housekeeping and food & beverage training. The training took 4 days and was well received. 

 

Housekeeping Training

Our housekeeping training covered the following:

• Removing all bed coverings from beds

• Sanitizing

• Handling soiled and unsoiled linen

• Turning mattresses

• Bed making procedures

• Dealing with customer property

• Turndown service

• Preparing to service guest bedrooms

• Cleaning materials

• Entering the guest bedrooms

• Preparing areas and surfaces for cleaning

• Cleaning departure bedrooms

• Cleaning stayover rooms

• Cleaning unoccupied rooms

• Cleaning guest bathrooms

• Cleaning surfaces

• Replenishing guest supplies/ complimentary items

• Completing the cleaning of the guest bedroom areas

• Checking and maintaining environmental control systems

 

 

 

Food & Beverage Training

Our food & beverage training covered the following:

• Basic spirits

• Vermouth

• Aperitifs

• Digestives

• Sherry & port

• Liqueurs

• Beers & ciders

• Cordials

• Breakfast service

• Lunch/ high tea service

• Dinner service

• Tea and coffee service

• Drink service

• Cocktail service
